Hi friends, it’s been a while since I’ve shared on this space, but it’s actually because I MOVED TO NYC! This was a big change. And to be honest, one I never thought I’d make. I am so deeply in love with my home state (California) that I thought I’d be based there forever. But when Alex and I started talking about other places we’d like to live, New York came up again and again. When it came to our careers in advertising, being closer to our friends and his family, and mostly what our next big adventure would be, it was hard to beat.
I still feel very loyal to the Bay Area, and have every intention of growing old there. In the meantime though, this feels exactly like what my next step ought to be. My new job, apartment, neighborhood; the leap I took to get here– all of it is very intentional, and in service of my growth as a person.
I’ve been here a few weeks, and am finally feeling settled in. The art hasn’t been hung on the walls, but there’s a couch to sit on. I can’t wait to start sharing projects and adventures on CreativeStay again. In the meantime, here’s a few shots of my time on the east coast.
