THE BAY

Weekend in the City.

May 4, 2015

Because I live out in the east bay (and work in the city), I rarely find myself spending my precious days off in San Francisco. This weekend, things went a little differently–my friend Allison was getting married, and my dude & I decided to make a weekend of it. The wedding took place at the Phoenix hotel, which was the perfect dose of Palm Springs for me. In the morning, we decided to go for a walk and find some breakfast. I saw some cool and aesthetically pleasing things along the way, and thought you might like them too:

The Phoenix bar is where the reception took place. How amazing is this light up sign? I want one!

The courtyard is so dreamy in the morning.

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 presetWe found this tiny little place in Tender Nob called farm:table. Croissant sandwiches, a mocha & espresso, and focaccia with mascarpone + fresh fruit to share. There was only one table inside, with everyone crowded around it.

Today I ended up inside of Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, and Nico Studio (above). The shopkeeper told me a little about the studio, and all the artists that make things there. I’ll definitely be back.

Thanks for looking at the city with me. Sometimes, I forget how interesting and inspiring it is. Let this be a reminder!

Haha @TMO- It was amazing. Doesn’t farm:table remind you of NYC? And yeah, Studio Nico is beautifully merchandised, and they do a bunch of screen printing in house!
