I read. All the time. And when using a million different colored post-its gets old, making your own placeholder is all kinds of fun. This “Thank you for co-existing with me” bookmark was inspired by one of my closest friends who said this to me one foggy evening on the San Francisco bluffs. I love her, and I love the sentiment! The bookmark is made entirely of paper and tape, with a black and white pen for detailing and of course string for the tassel. That’s probably my favorite part. Of course, the backdrop is one of my favorites, Edith Wharton’s House of Mirth. I’ve written over forty pages describing the different ways Wharton brings things to life in the novel (nerdy, I know). I definitely recommend it!
Much love,
