Traveling Morocco

Since we could only spend a few days in Morocco, we decided to spend them all in Marrakech. We’d found a stunning Riad, P’tit Habibi, to stay in, and decided to play the rest by ear.

It was stunningly designed by a Scandinavian architect and our suite overlooked the courtyard, which allowed us to lounge outdoors through the night. The folks who ran the establishment were lovely, and courteous, showing us around and sharing their incredible home-cooked meals. It honestly felt like we were staying with family.

This palace was a total sanctuary from the chaos of the medina, with so much to see. You’re actually able to stay on the grounds, but it costs a pretty penny, so we simply enjoyed it for the day.

Part three of our European adventure to come 🙂
